Sometimes.....
Everything that can be done is, perhaps, not what should be done. Every possible test is not what is required every time. A common sense approach is all that is required. You don't want 'chips with that' or to 'go large'. Quality is better than quantity. You want a simple solution as quickly as possible. You don't want to see a different vet or nurse every visit. You don't want to see a 'specialist' in Perth when it can be fixed here. |
We believe that.....
Good care does not mean doing every test possible but every test required. Over-treating and over-servicing is not morally right. Talking to someone who listens and cares about you and your pet is paramount. If something needs to be done, it needs to be done quickly and well. Doing what is necessary and not just what is profitable, is the right thing to do. Tried and trusted solutions are better than new fads and trials. Common conditions occur commonly and rare conditions are, in fact, rare! What we do needs to be backed with good evidence that it actually works. We need to do what is necessary when it is needed, not what is unnecessary when it is not required. |
